People really missed their Twinkies. It’s been three days since Twinkies and CupCakes returned to shelves, but already the demand is at a record high, said Hostess Brands. The reduced size of the Twinkie clearly hasn’t been a deterrent—retailers are reporting that the snack cakes are being sold out within hours of being on shelves. It’s been nearly eight months since the snacks were removed after the predecessor company feared it would go out of business. Joke’s on them.
