Every year, thousands of music fans flock to the Coachella Music Festival to see their favorite bands perform. Celebrities also come out in droves, including Nicole Richie who excitedly gathered with friends and tweeted, “Coachella 2011!!!”

On a recent press tour in London to promote her new album, Remember Me, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson stopped by to see the drag musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Backstage, she snapped this shot between two red-haired queens and tweeted, “Me n queen of the desert cast!”

It’s not surprising that a huge music fest outside of Los Angeles attracted a few singing sensations from Glee. Stars Cory Monteith (Finn), Chord Overstreet (Sam), and Harry Shum (Mike) struck a pose one by one, mocking a fellow Coachella festivalgoer who spent ample time sitting in the grass on her phone. Monteith tweeted, “hahaha RT @iharryshum: Assume the position. #Coachella2011”

She may not be going to the royal wedding on April 29, but talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has the appropriate head gear ready if she gets a last minute invite. She tweeted, “So far, I’m still not invited to the royal wedding. But if I am, I’m planning on wearing this.”

We’re not sure why the Mistress of the Dark Elvira would visit the set of American Idol, but nevertheless, there she was with Ryan Seacrest. He posed for a photo with the ‘80s cult star and tweeted, “Ran into Elvira at @AmericanIdol... exchanged hair care tips.”

The former Hannah Montana actress seemed to forget how many braids she wore throughout the Disney series. Miley Cyrus showed off her grade school hairstyle, but the rest of this photo isn’t exactly “6th grade” appropriate. Cyrus tweeted, “Rocking piggy tails for the first time since like 6th grade! I love summer time :)”

Another famous Coachella fan, David Arquette clowned around at the Puma Social house. The Scream 4 star tweeted, “You know what they say...big feet...big shoes.”

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara was star-struck when she caught up with Johnny Depp at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. She tweeted, “Woo hooo!!! With my teen crush!! :)”

Lately, fans have seen a whole other side to Jim Carrey—he’s sporting a new ‘do and tweeting philosophically. But he lightened up for a bit and sent out lyrics to ‘80s band Crowded House’s biggest hit. With an accompanying euphoric photo, Carrey tweeted, “Everybody sing, "Hey now! Hey now! Don't dream it's over! =B^O)”

Since Christmas, Alanis Morissette has been beaming over her first bundle of joy, Ever Imre. Last week, the ‘90s rocker indulged in some baby talk with The Business of Being Born co-producers Abby Epstein and Ricki Lake. The team is planning to release an updated version of the documentary with More Business of Being Born, in which Morissette will make an appearance. The singer posed with the co-producers and tweeted, “sat and talked with ricki lake and abby epstein yesterday. a lively chat about the whole wild journey of childbirth....”

In other baby news, Sarah Palin and her family celebrated Trig’s third birthday at a lakeside retreat in Alaska. Palin happily tweeted, “Awww...growing up to be a fisherman! Happy Birthday!”
