Seven individuals are suing President Trump and his communications staff for blocking their accounts on Twitter, BuzzFeed reported Tuesday. The lawsuit, which was filed in New York by the Knight First Amendment Institute, claims that it is unconstitutional for the president to exercise “viewpoint-based blocking.” Trump blocked several accounts from his personal Twitter after they responded to his tweets with harsh criticism.
