Tragedy struck a Coast Guard communications station on Kodiak Island off the coast of Alaska when two members were found fatally shot Thursday. Officials confirmed Thursday evening that they believed the shooting to be a double homicide. The secure facility, which has a staff of about 59, requires identification for entry. FBI agents from Anchorage arrived in Kodiak to investigate the killings, which occured early Thursday morning.
