At least five people have been killed after apparent tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. The Associated Press reports that the severe weather has now moved onto Mississippi, and more than 100,000 customers in the four states have been left without power. One of the dead is reportedly a trailer factory worker whose body was found a quarter mile from his workplace in southern Oklahoma’s Marshall County. At least three others were killed when an apparent tornado hit southeast Texas about near Onalaska, and a woman was killed on a bridge in Woodworth, Louisiana. A National Weather Service team will reportedly be dispatched to look at the damage and to confirm whether the storms were tornadoes.
