Police said that two elderly people were killed in a shooting at the Beverly Hills Hilton late Friday in what appeared to be a murder-suicide. Authorities did not provide any other information on the man and woman who died at the world-famous hotel sometime around 10:50 pm. Police said they were continuing their investigations Saturday, and that the victims’ names would be released after family members were properly notified. The hotel, which has hosted scores of celebrities and countless star-studded events in its more than 50-year history, is scheduled to host the Daytime Emmy Awards on Saturday.
