Two Dead in Ky. Mine Collapse

Two miners were found dead in Western Kentucky after the roof collapsed at the coal mine where they worked. The miners were trapped about four miles underground, and rescue workers had hoped to find them alive. Since January 2009, the mine, which is called the Webster County Coal Dotiki Mine, had 31 orders to close sections of the mine or equipment due to safety violations, plus an additional 44 citations for other safety issues.
