Two National Guard F-16 fighter jets crashed above a military operating area in Jefferson County, Georgia, at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday night. Both pilots—the only people aboard the aircraft—were able to safely eject from their planes and are recovering at a local hospital. The jets were performing routine operations at the time of the collision, and the Air Force will be investigating the incident, officials said.
