The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is shaking up its ranks after two Fruitland Park members were found to have ties to the Ku Klux Klan. An FBI investigation exposed Deputy Chief David Borst, who resigned Friday, and Cpl. George Hunnell, who was fired, as Klansmen. Five years ago, another Fruitland Park officer resigned after admitting to being a KKK leader.
