A federal court in California convicted Nader Elhuzayel and Muhanad Badawi of trying to provide material support to ISIS. They were arrested last year after Elhuzayel tried to board a plane from Los Angeles to Turkey with the intent of joining the terrorist group. According to the U.S. attorney's office, both men had "expressed a desire to die as martyrs" on social media. Both men face up to 15 years in prison.
