Two Terrorist Car Attacks Strike Israel

Wounding more than a dozen.

Two terrorist attacks in Israel using cars to attack civilians happened on Wednesday. The first occurred in Jerusalem where a police officer was killed and 13 other people injured. The driver tied to Hamas ran them all over as they stood at a train station. When reached by the news media, Hamas said in a text, “Hamas blesses the action. What is happening in Jerusalem is pushing us to prepare for war.” After running over his victims, the attacker reportedly got out of his car and began attacking people with a metal bar—until Israeli police shot and killed him. The second attack occurred a few hours later in the West Bank, wounding three soldiers.
