Tyra Banks to End Talk Show

Tyra Banks will say goodbye to The Tyra Show at the end of this season, its fifth, next spring. Banks will turn her attention to Bankable Productions, a movie production company based in New York that is currently looking at potential projects. With the encouragement of Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey, the production company’s aim is to bring “positive images of women to the big screen” and to redefine “beauty for women in film.” Banks’s talk show featured many tear-jerker moments about unattainable beauty standards and difficult relationships. Her modeling competition reality show, America's Next Top Model will continue, however, returning for its 15th season in February.
