The Tyra Banks empire is expanding: In addition to being a model, talk show host, and reality TV maven, Banks will now be a novelist as well. She has signed a deal with Random House to produce a novel called Modelland, the first in a three-book series. “It’s for all the girls and guys who want a lot more FANTASY in their lives,” Banks wrote on her website. She says that the book will be set in a place, “Where dreams come true and life can change in the blink of a smoky eye.” Details of the book and a publication date are not yet available.
