Uber Driver Helps Catch Alleged Robbers

GOOD CALL

Rings 911 secretly

An Uber driver in Georgia helped the cops catch three alleged armed robbers by making a secret 911 call, according to police. Shawn McCastle, the Uber driver, picked up the three men at a Waffle House and took them on a three-hour drive around the state. McCastle quickly realized something was wrong when he took the alleged robbers to a Days Inn swarming with police. He then took the men to a McDonald's, and he called the cops while one of the alleged robbers was in the fast-food restaurant's bathroom and the other two were asleep in the backseat. The police caught up with them eventually, but not before McCastle brought the men to a Kroger supermarket.
