According to prosecutors in Chicago, an UberX driver charged with raping an intoxicated female passenger is said to have told her, “I made you happy.” The UberX driver, Maxime Fohounhedo, has been barred from driving any sort of taxi while his case is before the court, and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail. The woman says she awoke inside Fohounhedo’s apartment as he assaulted her. The woman went the next day to the hospital and was administered a rape kit. GPS coordinates place the victim’s phone in Fohounhedo’s apartment at the time of the alleged attack.
