UConn, Syracuse Head to Women’s Final

The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team is heading to its fourth consecutive title game after a victory over Oregon State, 80-51, Sunday night. UConn will face off against fourth-seeded Syracuse Tuesday in the team’s bid for its 11th championship overall. The Orange beat seventh-seeded Washington 80-59 to advance to the championship. UConn has never lost in an NCAA title game, while Syracuse has lost the past 23 match-ups against them. The Huskies win over Oregon State was the team’s 74th consecutive victory, the second-longest winning streak in NCAA and school history.
