The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team won its fourth consecutive national NCAA title after defeating Syracuse 82-51 Tuesday night in Indianapolis. Senior Breanna Stewart led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Huskies (38-0) finish with their sixth undefeated season in team history. UConn Coach Geno Auriemma earned his 11th national title, surpassing UCLA Coach John Wooden for the most titles in college basketball history. The Huskies have won their last 75 games overall.
