U.K. Exit Poll Suggests Hung Parliament

The Conservatives aren’t quite at a majority, according to an exit poll.

The Conservatives will come away from Thursday’s general election as the U.K.’s largest political party, but they will not have enough seats to be in the majority, according to an exit poll, suggesting a hung Parliament is likely. The exit poll shows the Conservatives with 314 seats, Labour with 266, Liberal Democrats with 14, and the Scottish National Party with 34. A majority of 326 seats is required in order to control the nation’s legislative body.
