UK Parliament Recognizes Palestine

In 274-12 vote.

After five hours of debate, the British parliament symbolically voted to recognize the state of Palestine. The motion is non-binding until a peace deal is reached between Israel and the Palestinians. The vote was 274-12, which the majority coming from Labour Party, while the Conservative Party and Prime Minister David Cameron abstained from voting.
