More than 40 people were killed Friday in Odessa, Ukraine on the Black Sea as clashes raged between pro-Russian rebels and Kiev's forces. Most of the dead were caught in a building that was set on fire, police said. Clashes have happened in Odessa recently but never resulted in deaths. Earlier, pro-Kiev demonstrators were ambushed by a mob throwing fire bombs, paving stones, and "explosive devices."
