Iran can build two nuclear weapons, according to a new investigation. United Nations inspectors are reporting that the rogue state has enough fuel and technology to, with more enrichment, allow them to put together at least a pair of nukes. They presented their findings Monday ahead of the Security Council’s vote on a possible fourth round of sanctions against Iran. It “clearly shows Iran’s continued failure to comply with its international obligations,” a White House spokesman said. Iran has agreed to ship some of its nuclear material out of the country, but the latest figures show that it would still leave enough to build one weapon. Further, the report shows that Iran has expanded one of its nuclear sites and repeatedly denied access to inspectors. Iran maintains its nuclear facilities are geared toward peaceful projects.
