Union: Hackers Stole Every Fed's Social Security Number

A federal employee union said Thursday that Chinese hackers stole every federal worker’s Social Security number and more data. According to J. David Cox, president of the American Federal of Government Employees, military records and veterans’ status information, addresses, birthdates, job and pay histories, age, gender, race data, health insurance information and pension data were also stolen. Hackers struck the Office of Personnel Management in December, which was first disclosed last week.
