We're never on these websites at the right time. For a few hours on Thursday, United Airlines accidentally sold flights to an unknown number of lucky passengers listed at $0, costing them only a small security fee of $5 or $10. Friday afternoon the company announced it would honor the cheap tickets. It has not disclosed how many tickets were given away or how much money was lost, but the bookings site was shut down so the problem could be fixed.
