DISGUSTING

Up to 30 Jewish Graves Vandalized in Pennsylvania

The second such attack in the Philadelphia area in recent months.

Authorities in Springfield, Pennsylvania are investigating an attack on a Jewish cemetery that saw about 30 graves vandalized. A woman visiting the Mt. Sharon Cemetery made the discovery on Friday, though it’s not clear when the vandalism occurred, NBC 10 reported. Springfield Township police said they are investigating the incident, though they have not released information on any suspects. Photographs taken at the scene show headstones broken in half or pushed over, the second such attack on a Jewish cemetery in the Philadelphia area in recent months. An attack on a Philadelphia graveyard in late February garnered national attention, with Vice President Mike Pence turning up to assist in clean-up efforts and condemn anti-Semitic attacks. Police have asked anyone with information on the vandalism to come forward.
