Ohio State University’s investigation into football coach Urban Meyer’s handling of domestic-abuse allegations against his longtime assistant did not include a crucial element, The Wall Street Journal reports. Meyer’s phone was never tested to determine if he destroyed evidence, despite the fact that investigators believe Meyer asked a colleague how to delete old text messages from his work phone.
