Washington, D.C. was given a scare on New Year’s Day when a commercial airplane accidentally wandered into restricted airspace over the U.S. Capitol building, prompting an evacuation of that and several other House office buildings. Shortly after the evacuation was issued, however, police gave the all-clear and said the plane was not a threat. The plane has now landed.
