Talk about a pep talk. Jürgen Klinsmann, the coach for the U.S. team at the World Cup, told reporters in Brazil on Wednesday, “For us now talking about winning a World Cup, it is just not realistic. If it is American or not, you can correct me.” Klinsmann compared the U.S. with Germany and Brazil, which have entire populations expecting a title. Klinsmann, who used to coach for Germany, did say that the U.S. is better than ever, declaring, “We don’t look at ourselves as underdogs. We are not. We are going to take the game to Ghana and they will take it to us and it will be an exciting game and then we go from there.”
