Maybe they’re shifting all the drones to Libya? American military personnel have reportedly abandoned a base in Pakistan said to be a major hub for American drone operations in the country's northwestern tribal areas, according to a senior Pakistani intelligence official. He announced that U.S. personnel were no longer operating out of the base, but he did not say whether they left voluntarily or were pushed out by the Pakistani government. The country's officials and civilians have been in an uproar since the CIA launched two missiles at militants in tribal areas on Wednesday, just two days after Pakistan's spy chief told the U.S. to reduce CIA operations in Pakistan, where agent Raymond Davis recently killed two civilians who were attempting to mug him. A suspected U.S. drone attack that killed eight civilians in the tribal region on Good Friday has not helped matters.
