The gender pay gap has widened once again. U.S. men’s earnings in the third quarter grew at twice the rate of women’s in the same period, the Department of Labor reported Tuesday that. The data marks the third consecutive quarter that male earnings increased by at least double the rate of female workers, who earned 81.1 cents for every dollar a male worker earned, according to Labor figures.
