The man who allegedly planned the attack on Nairobi’s Westgate Mall in 2013 that left 67 dead has reportedly been killed by a U.S. drone strike in Somalia. The al Shabab fighter, named Adan Garar, and two others were apparently targeted while in a car near the town of Bardhere. Garar was accused of planning several other failed attacks on the coastal city of Mombasa.
