Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday suggested a possible new direction for America's involvement in Syria: a "military solution." "We do know that it would be better if we can reach a political solution but we are prepared — we are prepared if that’s not possible to have a military solution to this operation and to taking out Daesh," the vice president said. Daesh is an Arabic term that refers to the Islamic State. The vice president is currently in Turkey to meet with officials there and discuss the Syrian civil war.
