The U.S. Defense Department has banned U.S. troops and employees from traveling during their free time to Paris. The move, which officially prohibits personnel from entering a 50 kilometer radius around the city, comes as a response to terrorist attacks last Friday in the French capital. Anyone who wants to travel to the area must obtain approval from a higher-up.
