A SWAT team in Kentucky arrested a man Monday for allegedly breaking into an Australian home and strapping a fake bomb to a teenage girl’s neck as part of an extortion plot. Paul “Doug” Peter was picked up outside Louisville, Ky., two weeks after the much-publicized incident, and it will take about two months for his extradition back to Australia. Peters is known to have flown from Australia to Louisville after the incident, but police have not discussed the evidence connecting him to the crime.
