Foreign intelligence services beware: the world is probably about to find out you're working with the United States. U.S. officials are busy alerting their foreign counterparts—including some from countries that don't publically align themselves with America—that NSA leaker Edward Snowden has documents about their cooperation in his possession. The process is complex because not all branches of government know about the others' various collaborations. Government officials say if Snowden choses to reveal them, operations could be compromised.
