American skier Mikaela Shiffrin claimed a gold medal in her Pyeongchang Winter Olympics debut Thursday, the second gold medal of her career. Shiffrin clocked in at 2:20.02 with two combined runs, beating Norway’s Ragnhild Mowinckel by 0.39 seconds. The 22-year-old ski star’s run was delayed a day earlier due to bad weather. Shiffrin, who took home her first gold at the age of 18 during the Sochi Olympics, has said she will aim for three golds during the Pyeongchang Games.
