A Colorado teenager Wednesday pleaded guilty in federal court to providing material support to ISIS and other al Qaeda affiliates. Shannon Maureen Conley, 19, was investigated by the FBI when the Faith Bible Church of Arvada, Colorado, noticed her stalking the premises. She told an FBI agent she hated the church for its support of Israel. “If they think I’m a terrorist, I’ll give them something to think I am,” she said. Federal agents searched her home and found lectures by Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Islamic militant who was killed in a U.S. drone attack in Yemen, and shooting targets labeled with rounds and distances. She was apprehended at Denver International Airport as she was about to board a plan to Syria. Recently, a number of Americans have been discovered to be going abroad to fight with ISIS.
