The United States lost to Germany 1-0 in the World Cup on Thursday, but all hope is not lost — both will still be advancing to the 16th round. Germany's second-half goal by breakout star Thomas Muller sealed the team's victory. But the USA's dreams of advancing were kept alive by Portugal's 2-1 victory over Ghana thanks in part to a goal by Cristiano Ronaldo. "We were in the toughest grouping, and we got through," President Obama said of the team's performance. America will play the winner of Group H on Tuesday at 4 p.m. EST.
