The University of Texas at Austin and North Dakota State University will reopen their campuses at noon and 1 p.m. local time, respectively, after bomb threats at both schools forced evacuations Friday morning. At UT, a man claiming affiliation with al Qaeda told the school he’d planted bombs all over campus. He phoned the university at 8:35 a.m. and warned that the bombs would go off 90 minutes later. After the time passed, UT tweeted that no bombs had been found. North Dakota State University officials said all buildings had been cleared as well.
