Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s anti-protest tactics apparently weren’t limited to his own country. A Syrian-born U.S. citizen has been arrested on charges of spying on U.S. activists for the Syrian regime. The indictment also says Soueid traveled to Syria in June to meet with Assad personally.
