Brandon Vandenburg, a former Vanderbilt University football player, was found guilty of raping an unconscious woman in his dorm almost three years ago. Jurors found him guilty on all eight counts and came to a verdict on Saturday night. Vandenburg could serve up to 25 years in jail. Three other men were charged in this case, one of whom (Corey Batey) was already found guilty after a trial in April. Jaborian "Tip" McKenzie and Brandon E. Banks, also charged, have pleaded not guilty. Vanbenburg had been dating the woman involved briefly prior to the incident in which she alleged she took a drink he gave her and didn't remember anything between that and waking up with the worst pain she'd ever felt the following day. Vanbenburg attempted to orchestrate a cover-up of the incident which involved him and his teammates filming their assaults of the unconscious woman.
