Vanilla Ice was released from custody after he was arrested in Florida on charges of grand theft and burglary Wednesday. Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, is accused of burglarizing a home this winter in Lantana, Florida. Police said items stolen include a pool heater and bicycles. The 47-year-old is renovating the residence next door to the site of the burglary for his DIY Network reality show The Vanilla Ice Project. The '90s one-hit wonder rapper said the situation was a "misunderstanding" that had been "blown out of proportion," accoridng to TV station WPTV.
