The girlfriend of gunman Stephen Paddock—who opened fire in Las Vegas on Sunday night, killing 59 people and then himself—has returned to the U.S. from the Philippines, where she was traveling when the shooting occurred. She will be questioned by the FBI. Marilou Danley left the U.S. on Sept. 25, and police have called her a “person of interest” in the investigation. “The investigation with her is ongoing and we anticipate some further information from her shortly,” Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo told a press conference. Authorities have also said Paddock transferred $100,000 into her account in the Philippines last month. The sheriff’s office has released body-camera footage from the officers who responded to the shooting, as well as new information on Paddock and how he planned the devastating attack.
