Vegas’s New NHL Team Signs Its First-Ever Player

The National Hockey League’s newest expansion franchise, the Vegas Golden Knights, have signed their first player in organization history. Free-agent forward Reid Duke from the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League was signed on Monday to a three-year, entry-;evel contract, marking the first player transaction in the brand-new team’s history. The Golden Knights will make their NHL debut next season at the newly opened T-Mobile Arena in Henderson, Nevada.
