Let the price war begin: Verizon says it will offer unlimited data plans to its new iPhone customers, even though AT&T has placed caps on data use and Verizon executives have agreed the wireless world needs to move in that direction. But the company says its network, which is touted as the most reliable in the U.S., is already handling data-guzzling Android phones, and that iPhone will be no different. Verizon did not say how long it would offer unlimited data, but it has been building a faster 4G network to help with smart-phone traffic. Analysts believe Verizon could sell as many as nine to 12 million iPhones this year, dramatically expanding Apple's U.S. market.
