‘Veronica Mars’ Trailer Debuts

Will be set 10 years after she left Neptune High.

Veronica Mars has a secret—a good one. Fans of the beloved cult hit were treated at Comic-Con Saturday with a trailer for the upcoming Kickstarter-funded Veronica Mars film. The film will take place 10 years after the title character graduated from Neptune High, and the trailer teased fangirls and boys everywhere by featuring her riding in a car with her on-again onscreen love Logan Echolls. Star Kristen Bell paid tribute to the show’s fans in the trailer, who rallied around the show and helped fund the film, calling them “awesome.” You know what they say—Veronica Mars is pure marshmallow. There’s no release date yet, but it’s expected to hit theaters in early 2014.
