Neo-Renaissance woman Victoria Beckham — in addition to being Mrs. David Beckham, she's moonlighted as a pop star, played muse to Marc Jacobs, designed denim, and starred in her own reality TV series— is at it again. The tabloid fixture debuted the Fall 2009 installment of The Dress Collection By Victoria Beckham, at New York Fashion Week Sunday. She launched the line with a whimsical viral video in December, and it subsequently sold out at Selfridges. This time around "Beckham's focus remains on curvy, sensual dresses that won't date easily," says Women's Wear Daily. The collection is distinctly V.B.—dress and skirt separates are slim-fitting and fashioned in luxurious fabrics, channeling a "Forties siren feel." Also, in order to keep the price point low, Beckham removed inner "obi" construction. Meaning women won't need an AC Milan-supplemented bank account to afford these Posh-approved ensembles.
