Look, drones are cool, and an inevitability. We get it. They’re also annoying, in that people talk about ‘em too much and every idiot has one these days. Do we really need more aerial views of your buddy bailing skateboard tricks? No. Should the average 15-year-old, or 15-year-old-minded, creep be able to spy in the upper windows of the girl down the block? No. Which is why we take such intense pleasure in the category of videos known as drone fails.

We’ve seen them attacked by all manner of animals, shot down, hit with rocks, you name it – but this is a first. Drone destruction by pumpkin cannon. Like a potato gun on steroids, this thing catapults rotund orange missiles at around 200 miles per hour, more than enough velocity to smoke a plastic camera copter.
