Video Shows Cops Tasing Restrained Man in Genitals
Matthew Ajibade died shortly after.
Graphic video obtained by NBC News shows two Georgia sheriff’s deputies tasing Matthew Ajibade in the groin while he was restrained in an isolation cell. The 22-year-old was taken into custody after a bipolar episode on New Year's Day, despite his family’s pleas to have him transported to a health facility. He died shortly after the incident occurred. The video was shown in court Friday morning during the involuntary manslaughter trial for the two officers and a health-care worker.
