Video Shows French Woman Hostage

Kidnapped in Yemen.

French media uncovered a video that appears to show French photographer Isabelle Prime, who was kidnapped in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on February 24. In the video, whose title cuts off at “French hostage Isabel appeals to French leader and the—,” a visibly petrified Prime appeals to President François Hollande and Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi for help. She says that she has tried to kill herself several times. “Please bring me to France, fast, because I’m really, really tired,” she says. The video appears to have been posted to YouTube on May 4—fitting with Prime’s statement that she was kidnapped 10 weeks ago at the time of the filming.
