The video was released on Wednesday by the man's attorney.
A police dashcam video was released on Wednesday showing a black man walking away in Fort Worth, Texas when police shot him. David Collie's encounter with the officer occurred in July and left him paralyzed. According to attorney Nate Washington, police were looking for two shirtless black men who they thought had committed a robbery near a gas station in the area. Authorities claimed at the time that Collie pulled a box cutter from his pocket and pointed it at officers.
